ARCAD (Agropolis Resource Centre for Crop Conservation, Adaptation and Diversity) is developing an innovative centre in Montpellier dedicated to the conservation and study of the agrobiodiversity of Mediterranean and tropical crops. The Florilège project was born in this context. Res Telæ participated in the creation of the new version, which went live quite recently, with Christophe Espiau, Sophie Bonnin, Claire Mugnier and Thomas Bailly, under the direction of Christophe Jenny and Alice Boizet from UMR AGAP.

Through this portal, each BRC (biological resource center) proposes a catalog of «accessions» (germplasm) to researchers as well as a wider public, interested in agrobiodiversity in general.

This website is composed of a redactional part, and a a data-oriented part which presents the catalog of accessions for each BRC, retrieved via the BrAPI protocol, and directly modeled as Drupal entities thanks to the External Entities module. On this occasion, Valentin Guignon, from Bioversity, became a maintainer of this module.

Search uses the Solr indexing engine. The ordering workflow required a custom module in order to interface with the RaRe API managed by INRAE. Cart and favorites features were implemented with the Flag module.
