For the first time ever, a Drupalcamp will take place in Perpinyà, from June 19 to June 21. Such a blast to (finally) sponsor this event at home!
It will be a barcamp, which means the schedule will be decided by attendants during the event. Communication will be in French and Catalan; participants will be free to use the language of their choice. We hope many of you will come, whether from France or Catalonia, or beyond!
We are happy to sponsor Drupalcamp Roazhon, which will take place from March 28 to March 30 in 2024.
We can never say it enough, one of the great strengths of Drupal is its community. We are glad to contribute in various ways: event planning, translation into French of the Drupal user guide, or yet by translating Drupal itself on the Localize platform.
The Musa in situ project, led jointly by CIRAD and Bioversity, collects data on Musaceae around the world, in the wild or in the closest to natural growing conditions. The main purpose is to obtain an as precise as possible picture of the natural geographical diversity of Musaceae.
For CIRAD and Bioversity, I created a new Drupal 7 module to import biological data from a Chado database using Migrate. It requires the Tripal module, a project which offers an integration between a Chado database and Drupal.
I had already mentioned the way I work with Drupal 7. Having lately begun to adopt Drupal 8 for good, I hereby review my current workflow.
The Availability Calendars is quite frequently used by organizations providing accomodation, or for material renting.
Montpellier is on the way to becoming the centre of the Drupal world, for the second time in less than a year! From April 13th till the end of the week, will take place the 2015 edition of the Drupal Developer Days, which is an event on a European scale. Res Telæ takes delight in sponsoring this new event.
I introduced yesterday in Montpellier the base theme Zen 5 for Drupal 7. It has been, first of all, the opportunity to go over some points concerning the Drupal layout engine again (theme, process and preprocess functions, and templates), and secondly to linger over the new Zen version incorporated tools, in particular SASS (a preprocessor for a more efficient CSS development) and Compass, on which Zen Grids is based, a set of macros SASS (or "mixins") allowing an efficient use of the grid.
